Oman Issues Tender for Grand Blue City Construction

Oman has taken a key step forward in its Grand Blue City project by officially issuing a tender for site demolition works, signaling the transition from planning to physical development. The tender was published on 13 August 2025 by the Oman Tender Board, with a deadline for bid submissions set on 31 August 2025 by qualifying bidders.

This preparatory demolition & enabling phase is a critical enabler for the project’s construction stage, the planned scope includes the development & construction of:

  • 100 luxury villas
  • 202 lagoon villas
  • A five-star hotel
